Charles H. Tator - Barbara Turnbull Lectureship Series In Spinal Cord Injury Poster Session And Competition

 

Abstracts are being accepted for the poster presentation at the 10th Annual Charles H. Tator - Barbara Turnbull Lectureship Series in Spinal Cord Injury on Friday, November 25, 2011. The purpose of this event is to showcase to the scientific community and to the general public, research and discoveries performed by students in the area of spinal cord injury. All trainees (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) are encourages to participate by submitting an abstract as outlined below:

To submit an abstract, please:

- Compose a brief abstract of 250-300 words

- Use Times Roman 12 point font

- Include sections for background/purpose, hypothesis, methods, results and conclusions

- First author must be a trainee (graduate student or postdoctoral fellow)

- Indicate the following in the top of the page:

- Abstract title

-List all authors

- Affiliation (hospital, institution, university)

- Submit in Word or as an email attachment to stephanie.hewson@uhn.ca

- Abstract dealine is November 17, 2011

PRIZES: The Krembil Neuroscience Centre has established two prizes for best student posters (judged by abstract and poster presentation):

- $300 for top prize

- $150 for 2nd place

The Poster Session and Competition will take place at The Old Mill Inn & Spa, 21 Old Mill Road in Toronto on November 25, 2011.

Poster/abstracts which may have been displayed at a previous conference(s) are acceptable.
